Dr. Raja’s Urology & Andrology Centre, Bandra, will remain open between 10.00 am and 06.00 pm, from Monday to Saturday. Dr. Raja will consult patients between 03:00 pm and 06:00 pm daily. However, he will be available by prior appointments and for Emergency Consultations at other times also.

Dr Dilip Raja :

Dr. Dilip Raja is a consulting Urologist and Andrologist for more than twenty years at Mumbai, India. He is a Gold Medalist and recipient of many scholarships during his under and post-graduate training. He has been trained extensively in his speciality at various renowned centers in the world like…for stone disease in Germany, Microsurgery in Belgium, Endo-urology, Urinary Malignancies, Impotence and Urinary Incontinence at Mayo Clinic, USA and for Infertility at Australia.

He has done pioneering work in the field of kidney stone diseases. He was the first in India to use Lithotripsy (ESWL) machine. He has large experience in treating stone patients with all the modalities like PCNL , URS and Open surgery as a complete management of stone disease.

He is also one of the first few urologist and Andrologist to start newer technologies like Electro-vaporization of prostate, Penile Implants, Microsurgery in Urology etc in India. Endo-Urology, Stones, Prostate, Impotence are his all time favorites.

Dr. Raja has a large number of national and international publications to his credit. He has delivered many Guest lectures, conducted surgical workshops and has been instrumental in setting up Kidney Units at national and international levels.

At present he is a senior consultant Urologist and Andrologist at Lilavati Hospital, Sir Hurkisondas Hospital, Wockhardt Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital and Saifee Hospital at Mumbai, India. He has his Urology & Andrology Centres at Bandra in Mumbai, India.

He is a member of Mumbai Urology Society, Urology Society of India,National Academy of Medical Sciences, American Urology Association, Endo-Urology Association, USA, Socie`te` Internationale d`Urologie and almost all the prestigious international urology and andrology societies in the world.

Honors and Awards:

• Gold Medal at M.S. Exam, Calcutta University 1983.
• Dr. Anungo Mohan Sen Memorial Gold Medal from Association of Surgeons of India 1983
• Dr. A. K. Nandy Post Graduate Research Scholarship in Medical Sciences for 1981-83 from Calcutta University.
• Godrej Karai Surgical Research Fellowship from1981-82 from Association of Surgeons of India.
• Rameshwardas Birla Smarak Kosh Scholarship for research project at Bombay Hospital in 1985-86.
